Vista Expo ehf. – Terms and Conditions

1. Purchases
When purchasing tickets, exhibition space, or other products and services from Vista Expo, the buyer is responsible for carefully reviewing their order (event, date, time, location, size, area, etc.). It may not be possible to correct purchases once they have been completed.

2. Resale and Transfer
It is prohibited to resell tickets, exhibition space, or other purchased services for profit without written authorization from Vista Expo or the event organizer. In the case of such resale or unauthorized transfer, Vista Expo reserves the right to cancel the purchase without refund.

3. Event/Service Cancellation or Changes
a) If an event or service is cancelled: Buyers will be offered either an equivalent product/service on a new date or a full refund.
b) If the date, time, or scope of an event/service changes: Purchases automatically apply to the new arrangement. If the buyer does not accept the new arrangement, they are entitled to a refund.

Vista Expo may, however, set a deadline in its notification of changes within which customers must decline the purchase.

4. Age Restrictions at Events
Age restrictions at events are determined by child protection laws and legislation governing licensed premises. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in venues where alcohol is sold after 20:00 unless accompanied by a guardian.

The event organizer may impose stricter age restrictions, which override Vista Expo’s rules.

5. Lost Tickets or Confirmations
In limited cases, it may be possible to reissue lost tickets, confirmations, or other purchase documents.

6. Communications and Mailings
By purchasing through Vista Expo, you agree to receive emails containing information about the event, exhibition, or related services from the event organizer.

If you do not wish to receive such emails, you may contact info@vistaexpo.is.

7. Personal Data
Vista Expo processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

8. Liability for Property
Vista Expo and event organizers are not responsible for personal belongings of buyers, exhibitors, or guests before, during, or after the event.

9. Right of Withdrawal
The buyer has 14 days from the date of purchase to withdraw and request a refund. However, this right does not apply if fewer than 14 days remain until the event or service at the time the request is made.
